The way to set up internet access rules

There are four modes for managing children’s internet usage: “Internet Plan,” “Entertainment Plan,” “Rewarding Internet Time after Completing Tasks,” and “Configuring Internet Time Rewards Based on Each Completed Task.” Parents can choose the mode that suits their children’s needs.

  1. Internet Plan: Specify time periods when internet access is not allowed. (This is useful for preventing children from staying up late on their devices.)

Procedure: From the homepage, go to “Internet Management” > “Internet Plan,” click “Add,” select “Internet Plan” as the type, choose the start and end times, set the repetition schedule, and click “Done.”

  1. Entertainment Plan:Specify time periods when internet access is allowed. (Useful for allocating fixed daily internet usage time for children.)

Procedure: From the homepage, go to “Internet Management” > “Internet Plan,” click “Add,” select “Entertainment Plan” as the type, choose the start and end times, set the repetition schedule, and click “Done.”

  1. Internet Restrictions: Internet restrictions are used in conjunction with the reward mechanism to enforce rules where completing tasks is required before internet access is granted. This helps children develop a habit of earning entertainment time by completing tasks. Parents can set minimum durations for each homework and exercise task to prevent children from submitting tasks without completing them.

  1. Reward Mechanism:*Set different internet time rewards based on the completion of tasks of different types by children. For example, after completing a “homework” task, children may be granted 30 minutes of internet access, and after completing an “exercise” task, they may receive an additional 30 minutes of internet access. This encourages children to experience the “work more, play more” rule and cultivate good habits. (Recommended for parents)

Procedure: From the homepage, go to “Internet Management” > “Reward Mechanism,” click “Add,” select the task type, enable rewards, enter the internet time reward, choose the effective dates, and click “Save.”

  1. Task Rewards:*Configure internet time rewards based on children’s specific daily tasks. This is different from the reward mechanism as task rewards are set for specific daily tasks and need to be configured after adding tasks.

Procedure: From the homepage, go to “Internet Management” > “Task Rewards,” click “Add,” select the effective date, enter the internet time reward, select the corresponding tasks for the selected date, and click “Done.” Multiple task rewards can be added.

After completing the setup, children will receive notifications in the “Love Pineapple Guardian – Children” app, informing them whether internet access is available and notifying them of task and time rewards allocation, prompting them to complete tasks promptly.
